The Tanzania Animal Health Organization (TAHO) is dedicated to promoting animal health and welfare to support the growth of Tanzania’s livestock sector, which plays a key role in the national economy. TAHO addresses critical challenges like disease control, breed improvement, and stakeholder coordination by working closely with the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries (MLF). Through these efforts, TAHO aims to raise the livestock sector's contribution to the national GDP from 7% to 9% within three years.
